AI·Fire·Safety Management System 'HASS-SAFE' Launched… Accident Prevention Through Convergence Technology such as Sound Field Change Analysis

[Seoul=Newsfim] Reporter Nayoung Lee= Security equipment specialist Hitron Systems is expanding the business area of its AI CCTV brand 'HASS' to the industrial safety field.

On the 13th, Hitron Systems announced through a public notice that it signed a 4 billion won AI fire·safety management system supply contract with Mirae ENC, a video solution specialist. Hitron Systems will supply 'HASS-SAFE', an AI solution that includes AI video surveillance devices that integrate sound field sensors, and Mirae ENC plans to apply it to industrial sites such as steel mills.

'HASS-SAFE' is a convergence security solution developed by Hitron Systems in collaboration with Secuworks, a sound field-based smart sensor specialist. The technology that creates a sound field by emitting inaudible frequencies that humans cannot hear, and detects dangerous situations such as fires through AI solutions, and AI image data analysis technology are combined to eliminate blind spots in the surveillance of existing video equipment.

Mirae ENC is in charge of CCTV safety consulting and maintenance for about 10 large clients, including major domestic steel mills. In line with the recent expansion of the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act and the trend of transitioning to an automatic control system that can prevent disasters in advance using AI, we are building cooperative relationships with specialized companies in the safety field and developing and applying systems specialized for industrial fields with a high frequency of disasters. In addition, we are leading the distribution of AI systems by winning the contract for the 'AI-based railway shunting work risk prediction system pilot project for worker safety' commissioned by the Korea Railroad Administration.

The two companies expect that the linkage between 'HASS-SAFE' and Mirae ENC's control solution will be able to prevent fire accidents in important facilities such as distribution panels and battery production lines at industrial sites such as steel mills. After successfully completing the introduction of this solution, we plan to continue research and development collaboration through projects such as the Korea Railroad Administration's AI safety system.

Hitron Systems CEO Kim Min-sik said, "The HASS-SAFE solution, which combines sound field change detection technology, will be able to prevent various disaster situations that may occur in industrial sites." He added, "Based on the CCTV manufacturing technology that Hitron has accumulated over 38 years, we will continue to discover areas where various convergence solutions can be applied and strive to prevent safety accidents in industrial sites."
